After signing a contract with Lion Music Records, Astra are recording the second album called From within.
Lion Music also released the album of Marco Sfogli - James Labrie band, called There's Hope and I've recorded a keyboard solo in it.
In the meanwhile, I'm collaborating with Empyrios for the recording sessions of the new album which will be released in this year.
I would like to thank all the fans met in the last period, expecially people met during the gig of Astra as opening act for Vitalij Kuprij and during the partecipation of DGM at the Italian Gods Of Metal, thank you guys!!
Finally, give a look at the live section, I always update it.
Dopo aver firmato con la Lion Music Records, gli Astra sono di nuovo in studio per registrare il secondo disco che avrà titolo From within.
E' uscito, sempre per Lion Music, l'album di Marco Sfogli (James Labrie band) intitolato There's Hope, al quale ho partecipato con un solo di synth.
Nel frattempo sto collaborando alle registrazioni del nuovo disco degli Empyrios che uscirà entro l'anno.
Vorrei ringraziare tutti i fan incontrati durante questo periodo, specialmente in occasione del concerto degli Astra in apertura a Vitalij Kuprij e della partecipazione dei DGM all'Italian Gods Of Metal, grazie ragazzi!!
Infine, date uno sguardo alla sezione live che tengo costantemente aggiornata.

Astra recorded the demo versions of 4 songs for the second album and they're also writing other songs. There are also new gigs.
Different Shapes - the new DGM album, is out from June and it's appreciated from magazines and webzines. That's because of the live performance during the Gods Of Metal on June 3rd in Milan, too. And we'll be in Portugal and Netherland during the next months to partecipate to two important festivals.

Gli Astra hanno registrato le versioni demo di 4 brani per il secondo disco e altri brani sono in fase di lavorazione. Sono in programma anche nuove date live.
Different Shapes, il nuovo disco dei DGM, è uscito a giugno ed sta avendo riscontri più che positivi nelle recensioni, merito anche della partecipazione al Gods Of Metal il 3 giugno a Milano. Inoltre saremo in Portogallo e Olanda nei prossimi mesi per partecipare a due importanti festival.

After a long time out of internet - technical troubles, here I am again with some news about me and my projects:
- Astra are promoting the album by playing around Italy and beyond (always give a look at the LIVE section). We also played on January 20th in Sion (Switzerland) and on February 4th in Athens (Greece) for the BSR Festival... we were the headliner band for the second day. Anyway, we will do some rehearsals to compose new own material very soon.
- The empYrios album is out, it is called ...And The Rest Is Silence and you can buy it by visiting the Burning Star online shop.
- DGM terminated the recordings of the new album that will be released in May 2007 for the Scarlet Records, it is called Different Shapes. And we want you all to be present on June 3rd - the second day of Gods Of Metal in Milan, we'll be the opening act!
- Big event for Prisoners In Paradise on January 24th... after the concert of Europe in Rome we played at the Hard Rock Cafè for the official fan club convention. We had the honour to play Rock the night with Ian Haugland, the drummer of the swedish band! At the momentowe're recording two songs for a cover compilation.
- I've joined Fahrenheit, a Toto cover band, and I've already played with them three gigs.
- Recently a new Guns'n'Roses cover band is born, it is called Hollywood Roses, I'm the rythm guitar player, give a look to the LIVE page...
- On October 06th 2006 I finally finished my studies at the conservatory: 9/10 is my rate and I'm very happy about this!!!
Dopo un lungo periodo di assenza dalla rete (problemi tecnici) eccomi di nuovo on line con un po' di novità su di me e i miei progetti:
- Con gli Astra stiamo promuovendo l'album tramite concerti in giro per l'Italia e oltre, tenete sempre d'occhio la sezione LIVE, tra i quali da segnalare le due trasferte il 20 gennaio in Svizzera a Sion e il 4 febbraio ad Atene per il BSR Festival dove siamo stati gli headliner della seconda giornata. Presto comunque rientreremo in sala prove per comporre nuovo materiale.
- E' finalmente uscito l'album degli empYrios intitolato ...And The Rest Is Silence, potete trovarlo al momento sullo shop online della Burning Star.
- I DGM hanno terminato di registrare il disco che uscirà a maggio per la Scarlet Records, Different Shapes il titolo. Inoltre vi vogliamo tutti presenti il 3 giugno, seconda giornata del Gods Of Metal a Milano, dove apriremo la manifestazione!
- Grande evento per i Prisoners In Paradise il 24 gennaio... dopo il concerto degli Europe a Roma abbiamo suonato all'Hard Rock Cafè per la convention con il fan club ufficiale, durante la quale abbiamo avuto l'onore di suonareRock the night con Ian Haugland, batterista della band svedese! Al momento invece stiamo registrando due brani per una compilation di cover.
- Sono entrato a far parte dei Fahrenheit, cover band romana dei Toto, con i quali ho già suonato in tre concerti.
- Ultimamente si è formato un gruppo cover Guns'n'Roses, gli Hollywood Roses, che mi vede nei panni di chitarrista ritmico, occhio ai concerti...
- Il 6 ottobre mi sono diplomato al conservatorio di L'Aquila come privatista, voto 9/10 e sono felicissimo!

empYrios signed for Burning Star, the same label of Astra. The release date for the album is December 2006.
In the meanwhile you can order the Astra cd by sending an email to order@astraprog.com. You can also listen to some sample of both the bands on MySpace (empYrios, Astra).
Gli empYrios hanno firmato il contratto con la Burning Star, stessa etichetta discografica degli Astra. L'uscita dell'album è prevista per dicembre 2006.
Intanto potete ordinare il disco degli Astra scrivendo una mail a order@astraprog.com. Di entrambe le band potete ascoltare degli estratti sui rispettivi MySpace (empYrios, Astra).

Di ritorno dalla Grecia con gli Astra per il pre-listening party dell'album debutto intitolato ABOUT ME: Through Life And Beyond, abbiamo una novità: purtroppo l'uscita dell'album è stata posticipata a luglio per problemi di stampa dell'artwork. Nel frattempo date un'occhio alla sezione live...

At last online the new version of my website! Some sections are available only in English language, while others are to be completed, but they'll be updated as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile some news: Astra have finished recordings for an album of new songs, thanks to the deal signed with Burning Star (www.astraprog.com for details and clips of the recording sessions), album that will be released in June. For this reason, though, Astra had to withdraw from the contest for the new italian official Dream Theater tribute band, for a rule that states that bands under contract cannot join the competition. Despite this, Astra are going on playing DT songs during their shows.
In the meanwhile, both with Astra and Prisoners In Paradise and Empyrios (but also with Restless Heart) we've trampled over many stages. Besides, during this month I'll have the honour to play with DGM in two Italian venues, Chieti and Pavia.
Finally, in the Media section is available a new audio sample, take a look!
Finalmente online la nuova versione del mio sito! Alcune sezioni sono solo in lingua inglese mentre altre sono da completare ma le aggiornerò prima possibile.
Nel frattempo un po' di news: gli Astra hanno terminato le registrazioni dell'album di brani inediti, grazie al contratto firmato con la Burning Star (www.astraprog.com per dettagli e videoclip delle sessioni di registrazione), disco che uscirà a giugno. Questo però ha fatto sì che gli Astra si ritirassero dal contest per la nuova tribute band ufficiale italiana dei Dream Theater, causa una regola del concorso che non prevede la partecipazione di gruppi sotto contratto. Nonostante questo, gli Astra continueranno a suonare i brani dei DT durante i loro concerti.
Nel frattempo sia con Astra che con Prisoners In Paradise ed Empyrios (ma anche con i Restless Heart) abbiamo solcato vari palchi. Inoltre in questo mese avrò l'onore di suonare con i DGM per due date italiane a Chieti e Pavia.
